Dear Community Member, Representative and Leader:
The Peoples Campaign for Reparations and Black Self-Determination continues to move forward! There has recently been an increasing interest concerning Reparations for Black/New Afrikan people here within the United States. More and more candidates for the 2020 presidential campaign have been asked to state their position regarding support for such an initiative.
We invite you to join us in exploring what Reparations would mean for Blacks both locally and nationally and how we can advance a genuine grassroots agenda that will move us closer to Black/New Afrikan freedom and liberation. None of this can happen without your active participation. You can start by taking the online survey regarding reparations and self-determination highlighted here: (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RQ2MXR2)
Join us on Saturday, April 27, 2019 (10:00am-12:00pm) at the Homewood Carnegie Library, 7101 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15208. We hope you can attend and participate in this continuing series of community discussions and activism.
